Located on the rugged west coast of Vancouver Island, on the Pacific Ocean with sandy beaches, temperate old-growth rain forests, dozens of islands, and magnificent fjords, an abundance of wildlife and birds, a 'dazzling dream come true' kind of place for young and old, and always, for romantics of all ages, you gotta be here!!!

Clayoquot-Orca Resort is located 2 km (5 minutes driving) south before the Village of Tofino in the narrow part of the peninsula with sea on both sides. The resort is just a 7 minute walk to Chestermans Beach (1.5 km sandy surfing beach), and an easy meander on groomed paths through our Old Growth Rainforest behind the lodge, leading to our waterfront Bird Santuary on Browning Passage; a part of the ten most critical wetland areas on Canada's West Coast, it is designated an 'Important Bird Area' of Canada. As a protected area, it is an integral part of the Clayoquot Sound UNESCO BIOSPHERE reserve. 

Our Chuckling Oyster Lounge and Restaurant enchants with delicious, traditional West Coast Specialties, and great breakfasts. After a long day on the beach, snuggle into a down filled chair with something marvelously medicinal in our cozy lounge, enjoy the crackling dance of the wood burning fireplace, as you bask in the warm, casual ambiance.
