Clayoquot Sound offers infinite possibilities for exploration and experience in a diverse and fascinating coastal environment.
The inlet waters are Fiords, with numerous bays and coves and islands. Whether you are a seasoned paddler or are just getting started, a variety, from short to extensive paddles can be arranged in single or double Kayaks. -there are group paddles, day long sessions, courses and rentals for a wide spectrum of interests, and skill levels.    
Quality sea kayaking programs  promote environmental awareness, safety on the water, physical well-being and cultural sensitivity through the experience of unspoiled wilderness and the human connection to the natural world.  The Kayaking community is committed to protection of Clayoquot Sound as a unique wilderness area and a quality Kayaking destination.  Following tours are available for beginners and advance kayakers.

Harbour Islands/ Clayoquot Island Tours - 2.5 hours. This short tour is an ideal introduction to sea kayaking. After brief instruction and getting comfortable in the boat we launch into a delightful exploration of the islands that surround the Tofino Harbour.

Meares Island and the Big Tree Trail or Meares Creek Estuary - 4 hours. Crossing the Tofino Harbour you will island-hop the intertidal shorelines and cruise the shallow eelgrass flats for outstanding bird-watching opportunities. You'll enjoy a short stroll on Meares Island and feel awed by the power and beauty of this majestic ancient forest.

Lemmens Inlet or Vargas Shorelines - 6 hours. Depending on the tides, you will head into Lemmens Inlet on Meares Island or cross Father Charles Channel to Vargas Island shorelines. In either direction, there are myriad opportunities to observe eagles, waterfowl, marine mammals and intertidal life. This is a very satisfying 'get-away' tour.
